The proposal involves surplus basement space to create visitor accommodation for central Croydon. Centro provided a robust defence, despite the Council initially resisting the principle of windowless hotel accommodation, and ultimately secured delegated approval.
The proposal involves utilising the airspace above the existing residential block. Following Centro securing positive pre-application advice, an application was submitted.
