This site is in an emerging low-rise redevelopment area on the River Lea in Clapton (LB Hackney). Our case for the approved 7-storey building overcame officers’ concerns about breaking from the emerging maximum building height of 5 storeys plus one setback top floor. Centro ultimately secured planning permission with officer and committee support. A significant benefit of the proposal is the provision of 22 new homes which can accommodate families who keep Kosher kitchens.
