Centro co-ordinated and managed the project team through the pre-application meetings with the Council and GLA, a Design Review Panel, as well as public and stakeholder consultation. The proposal recognises the competing demands of the site, with robust justification provided for its uses, design and townscape implications in an urban location, whilst maintaining a sustainable form of development. The full application was submitted in September 2023 and underwent further revisions in 2024 to best align with the Council’s preferences. The scheme will delivery 136 residential units (35% affordable) with access to 660m2 of outdoor communal amenity, 150 affordble hotel rooms, 336m2 of dedicated community space, and 443m2 of public co-working space.
