Centro was instructed following a refusal of the planning application. The site is in the setting of a conservation area and several listed buildings, presenting heritage, townscape, and design implications. Transport and land-use challenges were also raised. Centro considered each reason for refusal and coordinated a transition between the previous design team and new consultants to the project. We developed a thorough, robust appeal case which resulted in the appeal being allowed.
